About This Production

As part of the District 8 Thespian One Act Festival, we presented a 40-minute cutting of Sarah Ruhl's Eurydice. The production photos showcased were captured during our in-school performance, held in preparation for the competition. All sets, costumes, and props were designed to fit within the constraints of a taped 6'x9' box on the floor, as mandated by the competition guidelines.

This production garnered widespread acclaim, earning a straight superior rating and multiple awards, including Best Leading Actress, Best Supporting Actor, and Best Sound Design. Additionally, it was one of four plays selected to advance to the state thespian festival, where it received another superior rating.
